Quantocks Hills meet Sunday 29th 8am at Simmons park car park looking at riding by 10am at the latest.
Not sure what time will be back so pack lunch or £££££££ is advisable and plenty of fluid!

Looking at organising a day ride to ????

Where ever we go looking at to be riding by 10am at the latest.  I was thinking of Afan it would be good to get a crowd of us so let me know your thoughts in the forum!

As there is a meeting tonight could someone please take minutes and then post them on the forum, so that people who can’t attend can be updated with the events of the club

I found this in my draft 17/04/08 not sure how old it is, who wrote it but thought it might want to be here!!!

We’ve put together a plan for trailbuilding and essential trail maintenance up at Abbeyford Woods. Starting next weekend, trailbuilding sessions will take place on the second Saturday and last Sunday every month. Next Sunday we’ll be looking at repairs on the Balonga trail, in particular the drainage issues on the berm before the end of the first section of trail.

If you want to come along and lend a hand, any help will be much appreciated. Keep an eye on the forum here for details.

The Northshore is CLOSED from just after the first seesaw. This is due to a broken rail. So if you are intending to ride in the woods please take note of the warning signs and tape.

If you see anyone ride that section tell them politely to get off cheers

Kate and I are heading to Afan, and camping at the Glyncorrwg campsite on the weekend 8/9th March, staying over on the Friday and Saturday night.

We are meeting about 14 or so other people there for general riding, drinking and social activities. As such, if anyone fancies coming along, the more the merrier. I am told there is no need to book camping at this time of year, but I have just in case.

We will probably ride Whites and the Wall, or July Trail on the Saturday, then Penhydrr on the Sunday with a hangover, or possibly Cwmcarn of the way back

We are having a social/meeting on Friday 22nd February, it will take place at the White Hart in Okehampton.  Meet up in the bar bout 6:30pm and eat in Vines Pizzeria for about 7:30.  All is welcome including partners so lets hope to see some more faces, well take it easy and see you Friday.
